How we can do more, and make a greater impact?
In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 as an official pandemic in the United States. Without any warning, the New York state-wide lockdown was quickly imposed. Due to this instant and sudden change, New York City endured overall economic devastation, many businesses were shut down, and even more people became jobless.
Similar to the Great Recession in 2008, numerous small salon businesses suffered tremendously from the long-lasting economic toll. It would take many months before New York City could even begin to reopen its economy and rebuild after the destructive effects of COVID-19.
During the intensive 12-week lockdown, we realized that similar events could occur again as population growth and technological advancements can hurt our flora and fauna. We constantly asked ourselves,
“How can we do more and make a greater impact?”
Our approach started by reimagining everything a company and beauty industry can be.
T12 Project
As a cosmetic manufacturing company, the problem is that people use cosmetics more than necessary, thus creating a lot of plastic waste on our planet. After careful studies and consideration, we decided that our mission was to provide more with less by promoting 100% recycled plastic and simplicity.
From essential workers to non-essential workers, peoples’ skin barriers became damaged and dehydrated from wearing masks. As a result, many of them use unnecessary amounts of skincare products to repair their skin. Our “LESS IS MORE” objective is to formulate multi-purpose and excellent skin care products while also focusing on core functions and helping to reduce the number of cosmetics used by people.
Because most cosmetics use a large amount of plastic due to excessive packaging, this plastic is tough to recycle. One of the causes of wildlife extinction and accelerating global warming is plastic waste needing to be recycled correctly. The new, multi-purpose skin care products will promote an efficient way to minimize the amount of plastic waste. Even with the higher cost of goods, we pledge to use plastics that are already 100% recycled to help reduce the creation of new plastics.
Excessive use of plastic packaging destroys the ecosystem and accelerates global warming by using more energy for transportation due to increased volume. Our sincere interest in simplicity and sustainable designs extends to every aspect of saving our planet. We strive to maximize the effectiveness of products essential for your skin and not on the packaging. The minimal design will reduce wasting of resources used for packaging and carbon energy from transportation.
The intensive 12-week lockdown gave us much time to research and formulate innovative products with efficacy and eco-friendly packaging to help reduce plastic waste emissions. Our business commitment to protecting ecosystems will inspire our communities to drive change in the right direction. By putting our motive, “LESS IS MORE” in front of all our future endeavors, we will strive to continue providing our customers with the best products while simultaneously saving our planet.

We have been studying the usage patterns of our consumers over a long period. Then we found that most people think they are cleansing their skin correctly when they are not. This can cause a variety of skin problems and even cause permanent damage.
The primary purpose of cleansing is to remove external impurities such as foreign substances, oil, makeup, skin waste, and fine dust without irritating the skin. However, the essential ingredients for skin health, known as natural moisturizing factors, must remain intact.
The proper way to cleanse is not to feel any tightness on the face after washing, even if nothing is applied. This correct cleansing ensures that your skin breathes smoothly and stays healthy.
That is why the first step in moisturizing the skin is cleansing correctly. It is essential to choose a cleanser with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5, which is almost the same as the skin pH that does not damage the skin tissue.

It aims to protect the skin from harmful external factors such as environmental pollution, UV rays, and fine dust. These external aggressors can damage the skin over time, leading to premature aging and other skin problems. The essence contains diverse and rich ingredients to rejuvenate and promote optimal skin health.
The main ingredient, in essence, is saccharomyces ferment filtrate extracted from the yeast used in beer brewing. This ingredient has been found to hold moisture to the skin like a magnet, making the skin clearer and more transparent. It also promotes collagen synthesis, enhances tissue repair, and reduces the signs of environmental damage.
In addition to saccharomyces ferment filtrate, the essence contains green tea, a well-known antioxidant and anti-aging ingredient. Rich in EGCG (EpiGalloCetechin Gallate), catechins, theanine, caffeine, and Vitamin C, green tea helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines, protects the skin from external factors for 24 hours, and improves dull and tired skin tone by managing dead skin cells and reducing pores.
The essence also contains enzymes that activate enzyme reactions and beta-glucan, an immune enhancer that helps balance the skin's immune system and prevent skin troubles. In addition, the essence acts as a humectant, increasing the absorbency rate of active ingredients into the skin, and can be used with a special serum for maximum results. Overall, the Antioxidant Treatment Essence provides comprehensive protection and nourishment for the skin, keeping it young and healthy.

Rejuvenating Stress Relief Serum aims to quickly regenerate and hydrate irritated, damaged skin due to various causes and can be used repeatedly as needed, even during the daytime.
For the functional ingredients absorbed into the skin to demonstrate a maximum effect, we do not recommend using other products within 10 minutes of using the Rejuvenating Stress Relief Serum.
Panthenol, a type of Vitamin B5, is very effective in retaining moisture by attracting moisture and has excellent skin regeneration ability.
Brightening Even Tone Serum, with its excellent antioxidant agents, effectively inhibits the production and oxidation of melanin pigments and blocks the movement of melanin pigments to keratinocytes, making tired and dull skin into clear and healthy skin.
In particular, it is effective against inflammation and pigmentation caused by acne due to its intense anti-inflammatory action. It can improve skin tone within 28 days of the skin's regeneration cycle.
Niacinamide is a type of Vitamin B3 that promotes the synthesis of ceramide to restore the damaged skin barrier. As a result, it relieves the symptoms of atopic dermatitis accompanied by an inflammatory reaction and suppresses itching.
Firming Uplift Serum promotes cellular respiration of the skin. In addition, it helps to activate fat cells, noticeably improving skin wrinkles and increasing elasticity within up to 84 days, depending on the age of usage.
Volufiline is a patented ingredient of the French cosmetics brand, Sederma. This plant steroid ingredient, phytosterol, interacts with fat cells and promotes the division and growth of fat cells, improving fine wrinkles on the skin. In addition, the ingredient does not affect hormonal activity, and its stability has been clinically proven.
Adenosine is a patented ingredient developed by the Medical School of the University of Massachusetts that also promotes cellular respiration to increase skin immunity and is effective in healing minor wounds. In addition, it strengthens the skin cells in the dermis layer to improve wrinkles and increase the skin's elasticity.
